The best for most bioactives, Phalloniscus baldonii, previously dubbed as either Trichoniscidae sp. or Trichoniscus sp., is an adaptable and amicable micro-pod well suited for a large variety of environments. They live a primarily subterranean life, and thus avoid most predation.

Unlike Dwarf Whites, a commonly used and recommended counterpart, this species has a very low need for protein. This means they're entirely safe for nearly all types of animals!
