Brand new to the hobby, this studious micropod hails from Puerto Rico as a potential alternative to dwarf whites, especially as a promising micro-feeder. While primarily subterranean, C. christiani has an affinity for gathering on stones, bark, and pieces of wood, making collecting and separating from soil far easier than their counterparts.
Although testing for amphibian safety has been limited, so far this species is likely safe for, at the very least, softer-skinned reptiles and reptile eggs.
This species has excellent potential as a micro feeder, as they like to collect on the bottom of bits of bark which makes them easy to collect.
This stock originated from Julio Enrique Monagas Park, Puerto Rico, and was obtained from RoachCrossing.
